About the Sea Room

Hello my name is Jackie Marsh.

I became interested in massage many years ago when my children were babies. I massaged them instinctively when they were fractious and they loved it.

In addition I worked on my family and friends after taking a course in reflexology and Touch For Health some twenty years ago. I valued massage so highly that I decided to learn more and help others when I moved to Devon and I enrolled on a massage course through the South Hams Sports Injury Clinic.

I gained a Diploma in Swedish Body Massage (I.I.H.H.T dip) following up with certificated courses on On-Site Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage and Thai Foot Massage with the London School of Thai Massage. I also undertook a years' foundation course in counselling and psychotherapy.

I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and insured by Therapy Insurance Services Ltd.

After 11 years experience as a professional therapist I continue to study and learn more about massage. I learn from everybody I put my hands on.

I love to give massage and currently my youngest client is almost two years old, the most mature being eighty four. Massage is for everyone. The benefits are vast. It has a wholesome and nurturing effect on body and mind and helps you to love the skin you're in.
